Male Hockey Program
The male hockey program runs from September through March and competes in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL). In addition to league play, teams participate in selected U.S.-based showcases hosted by the ECEL to gain exposure to diverse competitive environments.
Athletes follow a consistent weekly schedule with four on-ice sessions and four training sessions through the Mount High-Performance Fitness Program. Unlike other programs, teams continue training after the season ends to support long-term development.
Female Hockey Program
The female hockey program is designed for student-athletes seeking a competitive environment that supports both athletic development and academic focus. The season runs from September through March and competes in the United States Junior Women’s Hockey League.
Training follows a consistent weekly schedule that includes four on-ice sessions and four training sessions through the Mount High-Performance Fitness Program. Emphasis is placed on skill progression, physical preparation, and sustainable training habits.

Fitness
Fitness training at Mount Academy is led by Kyle Keoughan and is integrated into the overall athletic program.
Training focuses on strength, agility, and speed, emphasizing proper technique, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development. Programs are age- and stage-appropriate, ensuring athletes build a strong physical foundation to support performance.
Fitness sessions are structured, progressive, and aligned with on-ice demands, helping athletes develop habits and physical literacy that extend beyond a single season or sport.
Our Facilities
Our school is fortunate to be in an exciting facility opened in February, 2023. The Eliyahu Wellness Centre is home to a top-of-the-line gym and fitness center, an Olympic-sized ice rink. In a separate part of the building, is the Mount Academy classrooms.
