Leadership Through Service

As part of an intergenerational community, our students regularly interact with people of all ages and backgrounds. We also have a number of partnerships with associated local, national and international organizations where students broaden their knowledge and skillset that stretches beyond textbooks and lecture halls.

Duke of Edinburgh's Award

Mount Academy students participate in the internationally-recognized Duke of Edinburgh program. It encourages participation in activities of their choosing in four sections related to community service, skill-building, health and wellness, and adventurous experiences. This award plays a critical role in their development.​

Once a year we partner with Outbound Canada, a non-profit charitable organization that provides experiential learning programs. These programs help young people to cultivate resilience, leadership, connections, and compassion through inspiring and challenging journeys of self-discovery.
